  This place is great. There was a booking issue (online booking allowed us to reserve spots in an elephant seminar that wasn't actually scheduled) and rather than force us to switch or get a refund they set up a seminar for us. The team is knowledgeable and the experience is awesome. We will definitely go back!

  We stayed in Cabin # 2 from Friday, March 9 through Sunday, March 11. I was late to check in, not taking into consideration the time difference. The staff were really friendly and accommodating- unlocking the cabin for us & leaving a map at the office. My husband & I feel that the price was too high, and I purchased the cabin rental through Groupon. We paid $439, for a two night stay for 4 in the two bedroom cabin. The price w/o the groupon was over $700. That said, the cabin was mostly clean, and very well stocked w/ dishes, pots, pans, a can opener etc that many places do not have. However, the towel rack & toilet paper holder were broken, the carpet was gross & We had issues with the tickets to both other activities that were included with my purchase! (( day passes for 4 to big splash & Shotz laser tag were included w/ Groupon)) They definitely need a better system for Big Splash- I was told that the water park would have our names & to go to the front desk... I spent two hours with my seven & five year old daughters upset because no one at big splash could verify what I was saying- we were sent from the front desk to the water park cashier & back & after showing my Groupon & email confirmation & waiting for 2hours- they let us in- with three hours left to play... had it not been for that, I’d have rated 5 stars- because the elephant encounter was so amazing!!! The elephants are perfect & the ranch staff was very nice & didn’t even charge me when we were 2 hours late to check out. Also, they allowed me to reschedule our elephant encounter twice & were very accommodating about it!! Overall, it was a very good family vacation & although it was a little pricey & my kids were disappointed with their big splash experience, I would do it again!!
